## User issue addressed
V401 legs stayed too wide and foot repositioning read as skating/sliding.

## V403 correction
- Preserve V401 upper body in world orientation.
- Reduce lateral foot separation by scaling only the lower-body lateral X authority toward a narrower walking-lunge stance.
- Keep front/back lunge depth.
- Insert only a modest airborne foot-clearance transition, not a knee-drive pose.
- Use plant -> descend -> hold timing while preserving V401's 7.0 s timing map.
