# HANDOVER — V423I KARAOKE CHECKPOINT

## Authority
This checkpoint freezes the Karaoke work at V423I after the user assessed it as "good enough" and requested a checkpoint. It is intentionally not labelled final visual approval.

## Do not regress
1. Legs must truly cross; there is no generic no-cross solver rule.
2. Foot ownership alternates naturally; support foot remains planted while the other foot swings.
3. Root/COM travels laterally; do not collapse the movement back into an in-place grapevine.
4. Cross-front is the accented phase: higher knee, faster crossing, coordinated hand accent.
5. Back/open phases are softer.
6. Through-poses carry velocity; do not restore per-segment smoothstep stops.
7. Toe-off uses forefoot/toe support rather than lifting the whole foot as a block.
8. V423I expands open/travel stride without changing the accepted cross geometry.
