# START HERE — V396 Butt Kick Run Foot Cleanup

## Base
V395 Butt Kick Run video-timed full-root checkpoint.

## User-requested correction
1. Raised foot at heel-to-glute peak looked non-natural.
2. Support/lower feet looked heel-striking.

## V396 scope
Foot-only correction. Existing canonical profile `warmup_butt_kick_run_ik_v1` remains the sole body authority. No new IK profile and no new solver. V395 timing, cadence, kick amplitude, arms, head and torso remain locked.

## Foot correction
- support/mid ankle target Y: 0.065 m
- support/mid toe target Y: 0.000 m
- support/mid toe forward Z: 0.160 m
- raised peak ankle target: [0.08, 0.87, -0.18]
- raised peak toe target: [0.08, 0.75, -0.06]
- left peak is mirrored from the same right-side authority.

## Timing lock
The V396 `playbackTiming`, phase knots and per-frame event timeline are identical to V395: 10 alternating kicks / 4.0 s, 0.4 s heel-to-heel cadence.

## QA
- build gate: PASS
- integration gate: PASS
- actual Nex FBX CPU skinned-mesh two-loop QA: PASS
- upper-body drift vs V395: max 0.005662 degrees (numerical-only scale)
- Chromium/WebGL parity: NOT CLAIMED in this environment
- human visual acceptance: PENDING

## Next step
Human visual check of raised-foot orientation and support-foot contact only. Do not reopen V395 body or timing unless a new issue is explicitly identified.
