# V309 actual MCP wrist roll solve report

V309 adds a post-commit actual hand orientation pass. It searches rotations on the hand bone around the actual forearm/hand axis and evaluates the real Index/Pinky MCP+20 mm palm points against the real lower-leg capsule.

This is not a finger patch. It writes no finger curl and does not move arm, leg, foot or toe. It only tries to resolve the hand/wrist orientation issue that V308 detected.

## Audit summary

```json
  "passBrowserRuntime": true,
  "rightStillReady": true,
  "leftRollExecuted": true,
  "leftActualPassAfterRoll": false,
  "leftFingersBlocked": true
}
```

## Right

- actual MCP gate was already passing.
- V309 did not rotate the hand.
- fingers remain blocked by default.

## Left

Before V309, left was wrong-way through object. V309 searched 181 roll candidates and applied the best improvement:

- applied roll: +36 degrees
- wrong-way flag: cleared
- palm orientation fail: cleared
- actual MCP gate: still blocked
- index penetration: 13.53 mm
- pinky penetration: 10.35 mm
- fingers: blocked

## Interpretation

The previous thumb-up symptom was caused by wrong-way palm orientation. V309 clears that symptom enough that the wrong-way gate is false. However the whole actual MCP palm plate is still too deep / too close to the leg capsule. That means the next owner is not finger curl and not another arbitrary roll; it is actual palm depth/object-meet against the real capsule.
