# v95.20 Device compatibility test

## Device matrix checked statically
- iPhone SE-ish: 375 × 667
- iPhone 14/15: 390 × 844
- iPhone Plus/Max: 430 × 932
- iPad portrait: 820 × 1180
- iPad landscape: 1180 × 820
- Laptop: 1366 × 768
- Desktop: 1440 × 900

## Findings
1. iPad portrait could still fall into mobile dropdown navigation because the inline nav breakpoint started at 900px.
2. Pass menu used a fixed top offset and needed max-height/overflow protection for short landscape screens.
3. Some older touch targets were below 44px in legacy rules.
4. Horizontal overflow protection was worth adding after many visual layers.
5. Video/aspect-ratio rules were reasserted at the final CSS layer for Safari/iPad.

## Fixes in v95.20
- Tablet navigation starts at 768px.
- iPad portrait gets direct 2×2 navigation buttons instead of mobile dropdown.
- Phones below 768px keep compact mobile menu.
- Pass menu gets max-height, overscroll containment and safe landscape rules.
- Common buttons get minimum 44px touch targets.
- iPad portrait active pass stays stacked and clean.
- iPad landscape/desktop active pass keeps video left and instructions right.
- Global horizontal overflow guard added.
