# NEXT Athlete OS v96 RC25 - QA notes

## Scope
RC25 implements the new mockup-style top header:
- hamburger/menu icon on the left
- NEXT brand centered in the header
- profile icon on the right
- duplicate `NEXT ATHLETE OS` hero eyebrow removed
- old shortcut navigation panel hidden

## Protected areas
These areas were intentionally left untouched except for spacing caused by the removed eyebrow/header:
- approved iPhone Dagens pass layout
- approved iPhone KPI/progress meters
- approved iPad Dagens pass rebuild from RC24
- approved iPad/desktop side KPI layout

## PDF verification
Included static visual target PDFs:
- `QA_v96_RC25_mobile_target.pdf`
- `QA_v96_RC25_ipad_target.pdf`
- `QA_v96_RC25_desktop_target.pdf`
- `QA_v96_RC25_visual_verification_targets.pdf`

Also included:
- `scripts/qa-pdf.mjs` for real browser/DOM PDF export on local or deployment host.

## Sandbox limitation
This environment still blocks Chromium/Playwright live rendering (`ERR_BLOCKED_BY_ADMINISTRATOR` / timeouts). Therefore the included generated PDFs are static visual verification targets, not live DOM output from the app. Run `node scripts/qa-pdf.mjs` on a local/deploy browser to generate true DOM PDFs.

- core asset scan: OK, 0 missing direct references
- PDF render verification: OK, combined target PDF rendered to PNG pages with no clipping/black page failure
