# NEXT Athlete OS v96 RC12 – Dashboard background visibility

## Based on
v96 RC11.

## Fixed
- The dashboard background image existed, but on phone it could be buried by opacity + dark overlays.
- Increased image visibility on phone.
- Added a subtle dashboard-section background echo behind the whole start screen.
- Added CSS background fallback on `.home-hero` in addition to the real `<img class="dashboard-bg-img">` layer.
- Kept text readability with lighter overlays.

## Render QA
A static mobile dashboard render was created using the proven fallback method:
- `@page { size: 430px 932px; margin: 0; }`
- WeasyPrint HTML → PDF
- `pdftoppm` PDF → PNG
