# NEXT Athlete OS v96 RC16 – Fullscreen locked dashboard background

## Based on
v96 RC15 fixed.

## Fixed
- Background is no longer tied to a dashboard cell/hero/grid.
- Added viewport-level image directly under `<body>`:
  - `<img class="dashboard-viewport-bg-img" ...>`
- Dashboard background is now:
  - `position: fixed`
  - `inset: 0`
  - `width: 100vw`
  - `height: 100dvh`
  - behind the whole dashboard from the top of the screen
- Old startScreen/hero-local background images are hidden so they do not create a “cell background” feeling.
- Kept the preferred image:
  - `assets/img/v93/hero/hero-dashboard.webp`
- Kept RC15 unframed dashboard direction.
- Kept RC11 pass-control fixes.
