# NEXT Athlete OS v96 RC6 – Global dashboard background

## Based on
v96 RC4 Hero background restore.

## Why
RC5 changed the dashboard structure too much. The correct direction is:
- keep the two-column dashboard
- put one shared graphic background behind the whole dashboard area
- remove the left-box feeling
- let left text sit directly on the background
- keep right Dagens pass/progress structure

## Changed
- Restored two-column dashboard layout.
- Global shared background image now sits behind both columns.
- Removed visible left panel box.
- Left hero text sits directly over the shared background.
- Right cards remain but have softer borders/glass.
- Lower stats softened.

## Retained
- v96 RC3 time badge fix.
- v96 RC2 visual soul.
- Start/rest/finish graphics.
- Pass flow untouched.
