NEXT Pose Atlas · MediaPipe extractor bridge

This tool is intentionally outside the live pass runtime. It runs MediaPipe Pose Landmarker in IMAGE mode against atlas sprites and downloads a patch JSON. RC42 uses the current MediaPipe package and tries multiple CDN fallbacks so a stale version URL or blocked CDN does not stop extraction.

Recommended: hosted auto-mode

Use this when the tool is opened from nextnarvik.no/tools/.... It fetches pose-atlas-packs.json and every sprite from the deployed site automatically.

Manual fallback

Use this only from Mac/PC if you have the RC package unpacked locally. iPhone/Safari often opens a file picker instead of a folder picker.

Store candidate in atlas without activating runtime:

Activate MediaPipe runtime landmarks only after QA:

python3 tools/pose_atlas_rc40_merge_mediapipe_patch.py --patch rc40_mediapipe_pose_patch.json --apply --activate-runtime

Tip: start with hosted auto-mode on a Mac/PC. Mobile may work, but 288 sprites plus MediaPipe can be heavy.
